Join the Entrepreneurs Foundation for a beautiful evening out at some of East Austin’s urban farms and enjoy light bites and beverages from Eden East, a farm-to-table restaurant at Springdale Farm.
Explore and learn about Boggy Creek Farm and Springdale Farm, whose produce and fare can be found Austin’s local restaurants, grocery stores, and farmers’ markets. Operating as community hubs, these farms have a legacy of sustainability and are pillars of our local food ecosystem. During the evening, you’ll hear their stories and the history of East Austin’s farming legacy.
After the tours, light bites and appetizers will be provided by Eden East and their food truck will be onsite with a menu featuring fresh and local food. Drinks will also be provided. Mingle under the sunset with community and good food as we continue the conversation of the Entrepreneurs Foundation and Blackbaud’s Spring Service Week, as the tech community engages with Austin’s robust, yet fragile, food ecosystem.
